How the Zoom integration works
With our Zoom integration, you are now able to automatically create and manage your Zoom classes directly from your Fitune Schedule, enabling you to do all your virtual class admin in one place.
You are also able to set custom Zoom meeting settings including:
- Auto-mute participants upon entry
- Enable join before host
- Enable a waiting room
- Recording the activity automatically
Class registrants will receive the link and joining info to join the Zoom class via an email which is sent out 20 min prior to the start of the class starts. Alternatively, they can find the link in the ''My Bookings'' section of their Fitune account.
What you need to integrate with Zoom
Before you can integrate you’ll need a Zoom account. There are Basic, Pro or Business plans available. We expect most will be well-served by the Pro plan.
Zoom only allows Hosts to run one meeting at a set time, so if you run multiple virtual classes at the same time you’ll need more than one Zoom account, one for each instructor running the same timed session.
Once you’ve at least one Zoom account and a Fitune Account, you’re ready to integrate.
Setting up the Zoom integration
Integrating your Zoom account(s) is super simple. the step-by-step process is:
Navigate to the Fitune ADMIN ACCOUNT> SETTINGS > INTEGRATIONS page.
Click CONNECT ZOOM ACCOUNT and then add your Zoom credentials to connect your Zoom account.
You will then be taken back into Fitune where you will see the updated INTEGRATIONS page.
You’re then ready to add your Zoom classes to new or existing sessions.
Add Zoom meetings to your classes
Once you’ve integrated with Zoom your online activities, you will have the option to Add Zoom meetings in the ‘Schedule' section at "Activities overview" – so it’s just a case of clicking "Turn into a Zoom livestream" in the options dropdown to convert your activity in to a Zoom Meeting.
Disconnecting from Zoom
If you ever need to disconnect your Zoom account(s), this can be done within your Zoom account via:
Log in to your Zoom account here and navigate to the Zoom App Marketplace.
Click Manage > Installed Apps or search for the Fitune app.
Click the Fitune app.
Click Uninstall.
