Migrating Active Stripe Clients to Fitune

Transfer your clients with active packages or subscriptions from Stripe to Fitune without them having to re-enter their payment information.

Note: we can only transfer clients from Stripe with active class packs or subscriptions.

How to start the migration

  1. Connect your Stripe account in your Fitune Admin Settings.
  2. Make a copy of the following spreadsheet and fill it in with your active clients' information: Make a copy here
  3. Let us know when you'd like to go live. Please allow 24 hours after the spreadsheet has been completely filled out for our team to make the transfer. Large client list transfers can take approximately 1 week.

Make sure to write the plan name in the "Fitune Plan Name" column exactly as it appears in your Fitune admin dashboard.


Required information in the spreadsheet

Field Description
First Name Client's first name
Last Name Client's last name
Email Client's email (double-check for typos)
Fitune Pricing Name Name of the plan exactly as it appears in your Fitune admin
Expiration / Renewal Date The date the subscription will renew
Classes Remaining Number of classes remaining in the pack (unlimited if subscription)
Stripe Customer ID Customer ID from your existing Stripe account

How to find your Stripe Customer IDs

  1. Go to https://dashboard.stripe.com/customers
  2. Export the customer list to CSV.
  3. The columns we need are id and email.

Transferring from Vimeo, Glofox, or Mindbody?

These platforms use Stripe "Custom" accounts where client information is hidden, but we can still transfer it to Fitune:

  1. Create a new Stripe account and connect it to Fitune.
  2. Email your contact at your old platform and say: "I'd like to migrate my customer information to a new Stripe account." CC hello@fitune.io on the email so they can provide the new Stripe Account ID.
  3. Your old platform will connect us with the Stripe Migrations Team to manage the transfer. This process takes approximately 1 week.
  4. Once the transfer is complete, cancel your clients' subscriptions on your former platform so they only have one active subscription.

Frequently asked questions

Why do you need the Stripe Customer ID? If your clients have their payment information stored in Stripe, we can transfer it to Fitune so they don't have to re-enter their card details.

What about clients without packages or subscriptions? We first focus on clients with existing packs or subscriptions. Afterward, we invite the rest of your client list to your new platform.
