Click on Taxes
Add your Tax name
Add your Tax rate
Save
Make sure to check if it is already set as Default if not, click on the 3 little dots next to the Tax and choose default
IMPORTANT
You can create multiple tax rates, but only the one set up as the default will be charged for every purchase made from the admin or the website.
Tax breakdown can be found on every invoice's details page.
Tax rates can be inclusive or exclusive.
In a nutshell, inclusive means that the product/service price includes the tax rate in the original price. And exclusive, means the rate doesn't include in the original price, so it's added to it.
Once you create a tax rate, you can only edit its name, not the rate, nor its type (inclusive or exclusive).
If you want to stop charging taxes, you can archive all tax rates you've created.
Staff, such as Admin and Low-access, cannot configure taxes. Only the Owner can configure taxes. The Owner is the person who originally signed up for Fitune and has access to everything within the Fitune admin.
