What is the Check-in Kiosk, how to enable it, and how it works.

🔔 This feature will be available starting in the middle of June 2024.

By enabling the Check-in Kiosk, you will allow your clients to check in to your classes themselves.

The Check-in kiosk is available to Ultra providers and can only be configured by the Fitune account Owner, not by the Staff.

How to enable it

  1. Go to your Settings.

    1. These steps must be performed by the Fitune Owner.

  2. Click on the Check-in Kiosk option.

  3. Learn what it is about and click on 'Get Started'

  4. Enable the kiosk.

    1. You can enable it automatically if you have an Ultra Fitune plan.

    2. If you have a Free Forever, Pro, or Plus Fitune plan, you must upgrade to the Ultra.

  5. Access the Kiosk mode.

    1. If you're the Owner, click on the "Go to Kiosk mode"

    2. If you're an Admin or Low-access staff, click on your profile icon > Go to kiosk mode.

  6. Confirm that you want to enter the kiosk mode.

How it works

  • Once you're inside the kiosk mode, you will only be able to see today's upcoming classes and events.

  • If users can click on any of today's classes, they will be redirected to that schedule's page where they can check in.

  • On the schedule page, users will see everyone who is booked for the class.

  • By clicking on 'Check-in', your booked client will be marked as Show

    • A pop-up will be triggered to the user confirming that they have checked in.

    • Checked-in clients will be automatically marked as "Checked-in/Show" on the Kiosk and at the Fitune admin.

  • Your clients can check in from the kiosk 10 minutes after the class starts maximum.

    • Let's say your class starts at 8:00 AM. Your clients will be able to check in until 8:10 AM.

  • Check-in logs can be found at the Fitune admin.

    • Client's overview page > Bookings > Each booking's event history.

    • Schedule overview > Client's Bookings details.

  • The Owner can disable the kiosk anytime.
