🧐 What is Stripe and How Does It Benefit You?

You may be wondering why you have to connect your Stripe account, well they are one of the best payment processors out there and provide a seamless experience for your customers since they don't need to create an account or do anything else. With Stripe you will allow your customers to make purchases on your storefront using credit and debit cards and the funds will be added to your bank account on a seven-day rolling basis.

Using Stripe you don't have to worry about paying high fees for something you are not using, instead, you only get charged when you get a payment. Stripe has no setup fees, no monthly fees, no card storage fees. For example, Stripe charges a fee of 1.4% + £0.20 per transaction for European bank cards. To know the fees for other countries, visit this link.

🔹Steps to Connect

1️⃣ Go to Settings and then click on Payment gateway.

2️⃣ Then click on Connect your account. You will be redirected to a Stripe page.

If you don't have an account, fill in the form, and then you will be able to connect it. If you already have a Stripe Account, click on "Already have a Stripe account? Sign in" in the top right corner.

⚠️ Important

  • Sometimes it appears as a Business website.

Important: If you get the message "404 (Not found)" when adding your website URL, you have two options:

    • You can enter the URL of any of your business’s social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, etc.)

    • Or you can contact Stripe Support to validate your URL.

3️⃣ Enter your credentials and then click on Connect my Stripe account on the confirmation screen so you can link it to Fitune.

4️⃣ To confirm if your connection was successful, go to the Payment gateway page again. If it is successful, it will show a green checkmark with the text "Your Stripe account is connected."

If the blue button shows ''Connect account,'' the connection is unsuccessful. Please try again or reach out via our help chat.

⚠️ Importante
