How do I build my video library?

Organize and upload your content in a few steps

 

 

1. Create your categories

Add some categories so that your clients can view your videos in a very organized way.

2. Upload your video

  1. Click on the Videos tab.
  2. Click on "Add Video".
  3. Drag and drop or select a video file (.mp4 and .mov supported).
  4. Add information: Name, Description, Thumbnail Image, Trainer/Host.
  5. Add pricing for a single video: Free, One time price, Rental price.

3. Set pricing for a single video

You can allow one or all of the pricing options below for a single video. To create a package or subscription of videos, you can set up a pack or membership.

  • Allow users to buy: customers can view the video forever or until you delete it.
  • Allow users to rent: customers can view it during the rental period.
  • No pricing set up: this video is available for package/subscription options only.

4. Order your categories

You can reorder categories as they appear in your library by simply editing the position order.

Tap into the category to reorder your videos (coming soon). By default, they're ordered by upload date.

5. Preview video library

Go to your "video" tab page on your website.

Frequently Asked Questions

▶ How large should my preview image be? Recommended size is 637×333 pixels (16:9).

▶ What kind of files do you support? We accept all video formats, but we recommend MP4 since it's compatible with most devices.

▶ What is the limit to file size for my videos? There's no fixed limit, but we recommend keeping videos under 2 GB so they upload quickly and play back without issues. Video too big? Use a compression app like HandBrake to reduce the file size while maintaining quality.

▶ What options do I have to upload videos?

  • Videos from Vimeo: if you already have a Vimeo account and don't want to lose time uploading from scratch, you can integrate your account with Fitune and simply upload them by adding the video link. Fast uploading (seconds), and it won't use your Fitune storage since your videos are hosted by Vimeo. More info: How to upload a video from Vimeo
  • Videos from YouTube: if you already have videos uploaded to your YouTube channel, you can add them to your website by adding the YouTube video link. Recommended for free videos, since YouTube's privacy configuration is limited. It won't use your Fitune storage either. More info: How to upload a video from YouTube
  • Videos from your device: to upload videos saved on your phone or computer, click "Upload Video" and you'll be redirected to your device files. We recommend the MP4 file format, since it's compatible with most devices.
