Integrate Google Reserve in Fitune

Availability

The integration is available for Plus or Ultra plan users and requires a verified Google Business profile in the fitness category. Each location of your studio must have its own Google Business Profile to connect independently.

🧐 What is Google Reserve and How Does It Benefit You?

Google Reserve allows clients to discover your studio directly on Google and Google Maps and easily book your classes and events from your website, without back-and-forth messaging.

Key Benefits:

  • Your services appear in relevant searches. Let's say you're a Pilates studio, you may appear when users search for "Pilates near me”, “Pilates studios.” Or when searching your studio name on Google.

  • Users can view your calendar, explore class, event or membership details, and book directly from your Fitune page.

  • Fitune automatically assigns the lead source so you can track that the booking came from Google Reserve.

  • Google does not charge any commission for clients coming from Google Reserve.


🔹 Steps to Connect & Synchronise

1. From your left-hand panel, go to Google Reserve or from Settings → Integrations → Connect. Click the “Get Started” button

2.Connect the location you want to integrate

  • If you have multiple locations, each one connects independently.

3.Search for and select your business name (from the pop-up)

  • If you have a verified Google Business Profile, you will be able to find it by typing its name and selecting the option that previews its address.

  • When typing your business name, the address will match exactly the one registered in your Google Business Profile.

4. Save your changes.

5. Go to the Sync classes tab. Select the classes or events you want to synchronize and show on your Google Business Profile.

If you have multiple locations, select the classes and events you want to connect to each location independently.

6. Save your changes.

⚠️ Important Notes:

  • Connecting or disconnecting classes and events may take up to 24 hours to reflect on your Google Business Profile.

  • Connecting or disconnecting a location may take up to 24 hours to reflect on your Google profile.

  • Only physical addresses can be connected; virtual locations are not supported.

  • After connecting the location(s), you must select the classes and events you want to sync (find steps below).



❓ Frequently Asked Questions

Does the user need to create an account to book?

✅ Yes. When booking, they will be asked to create a Fitune account.

Do Google Reserve clients need a Google account or Google app to book?

❌No, clients don’t need a Google account or the app to book via Google Reserve. Since they come from your Google Business Profile and land on your website, they are treated as regular clients: they can explore your entire site, and when they’re ready to book or purchase, they’ll be prompted to create an account. This means that if they make a booking, you can mark their attendance, cancel, or reschedule it, and if they purchase a membership, you can manage or cancel it. In short, they function just like any regular Fitune client.

Can I know if a client comes from Google Reserve?

✅ Yes. If users come from your Google Business Profile and then create an account from your Fitune website to book or purchase, they'll automatically be added to your Fitune CRM with the "Lead source = Google Reserve" on their profile.

  • This will not apply if the client already exists in your CRM.

  • Google Reserve clients will have the Google logo next to their name across Fitune pages, so you can distinguish them from the rest, just like Wellhub or TotalPass clients.

  • If you have clients from this integration, you can find them in the Contact Details report by filtering “Lead Source = Google Reserve” and applying a date range. If this option does not appear, it means there are no clients with that source within the selected period.

Does Google charge commissions for Google Reserve clients?

❌ No. Google Reserve doesn't charge anything for users that end up creating an account, making a booking, or purchasing.

Do Fitune’s cancellation policies apply?

✅ Yes. Clients who book through Google Reserve follow your Fitune cancellation policies. If you have penalty fees configured, clients who

  • Have a card on file, will be charged the penalty fee automatically.

  • Do not have a card on file, will get an offline invoice generated that they can pay when they log back into your web/client app (depending on your settings).

Can I connect virtual locations?

No. Google Reserve only allows physical addresses to be connected.

What if my studio has multiple locations?

✅ Since Google Business Profiles are created per location, you can connect each location and synchronize its classes/events independently. The client will be redirected to your Fitune website with the specific location from which they searched on Google.

Can I connect secret classes or events?

You can connect them from Fitune, but they will not appear on your Google Business Profile. We display them on the list, so you're aware of your secret classes and can consider making them visible (not secret) from the Products Classes → Edit → Visibility.

Do my bookings get cancelled automatically if I disconnect my location or classes/events from the Google Reserve integration?

❌ No. Previously made bookings and clients remain intact upon disconnection of locations, classes, or events. However, if you disconnect them, they won't be displayed in your Google Business Profile for new bookings or purchases anymore.

Why aren't my changes reflected in my Google Business Profile?

  1. Changes may take up to 24 hours to be reflected after saving them. Therefore, if that time hasn't passed, it's expected that they're not reflected.

  2. If it's been more than 24 hours after your changes, please contact our Fitune support team.
