What is 3D Secure?
3D Secure (3DS) is an extra layer of security used by many banks and credit card providers to verify a cardholder's identity before completing a payment.
Depending on the card and bank, clients may be asked to:
Approve the payment in their banking app
Enter a one-time passcode (OTP)
Complete an additional verification step
This helps prevent unauthorized transactions and reduces fraud.
