Active Clients

You may see a message in your dashboard prompting you to upgrade your plan because you've reached your active client limit. This article explains what an active client is and how the limit works.

What is an active client?

An active client is any contact that meets at least one of the following conditions:

  • Has an active membership or package.
  • Has made a booking within the last 30 days.
  • Has made any kind of purchase within the last 30 days.

Note: this also includes bookings or purchases marked as free, and bookings from integrations such as WellHub and TotalPass.

You can review your active clients under Contacts → Clients → Active clients.

Frequently Asked Questions

If a client both booked and purchased a plan, are they counted twice? No, each client is counted only once as an active client.

What happens if I don't upgrade? Your plan will be automatically upgraded to the next level by the system.

Will I be charged until the beginning of the next cycle? No. The system prorates the charge if your cycle hasn't ended, so you may not be charged the full price of the new plan. However, at the start of your next cycle you will be charged the full amount for the new plan.

What if I delete clients to avoid the upgrade? If you do this before the system upgrades, you won't be moved to the next plan.

If I delete or lose active clients, will the system automatically revert to my old plan? No. In that case, you'll need to contact our support team so we can adjust your plan accordingly.
